![]() (T the F attachment trigger plus the slide position number, TT both triggers plus the slide position number, Gb the Gb second trigger plus the slide position number.) Go Here for the slide position chart for a trombone with an F attachment trigger. It`s alright, but the slide became crap really fast. This is the slide position chart for a Bb-F-Gb independent double trigger bass trombone. I bought the Jupiter just because i thought it was cool. In the above chart, I have identified the alternate positions after the /. If you bought a Thein or Miraphone soprano and spent that kind of money on it, you`d know what you were doing with it before you ever shelled out that money. ![]() BUT i`m assuming you bought a Jupiter soprano for like 300 bucks. 3 is just before the bell, and 4 is just past the bell. Always listen to make sure they sound the right distance apart. Keep it closer to 1 to help you find it better. 2 is often played longer on the slide than it should be. The slide positions will all be relatively the same as a tenor trombone in relation to the bell. Here are the trombone position groupings: 1 is in all the way in and easy to find, so think of 2 as next to 1. A soprano trombone has a moving handslide and stationary bell. Most slide trumpets had a 4 note capacity to them. By default, Dorico uses Arabic numerals for. Slide trumpets were medieval instruments in which the bell moved back and forth, not the handslide. (and also add 2 flats to whatever the key signature is to make it bass)It`s also just like reading tenor clef. ![]() To convert treble into what you would see for bass clef, move any note on a space up 2 spaces, or if on a line move it up 2 lines and it will look like it should for bass clef. Soprano trombone can either transpose a trombone part up an octave, or you can read it treble from a trumpet. The figures appearing below the notes represent slide positions. The only thing that really uses soprano clef is a Viola. Ummmm the soprano clef has nothing to do with the instrument being called soprano.
